Pastor and Moderator of Session Thomas Sexton Logan, CP Thomas came to St. Andrew Presbyterian as a scared college student invited to the campus fellowship meeting for dinner. At the time, he had no idea that saying yes to a friend to join them for dinner at her church would change his life. Since then, he became a member of the church, completed his degree in music, became a teacher, and found himself called to ministry.
Thomas has a degree in music from McNeese State University, a Career and Technical Education Teaching Certificate from Northwestern State University, and a Certificate of Christian Leadership in the Reformed Tradition from the University of Dubuque Theological Seminary.
'I am living proof that this church offers Acceptance, Restoration, and Purpose.' he says, 'The gift given to me by Christ Jesus through the members of this congregation can never be paid back, but if I can help anyone to feel the love, peace, and buttress that I feel in this church, then I will know that I have fulfilled Christ's calling for me."
