Many projects were undertaken from gardening, pruning, cleaning and painting the Fellowship Hall.

Rededication Sunday-September 23, 2007
St. Andrew celebrated and re-dedicated itself fully to its mission of worship of God and to seek to bring God's kingdom to our community and the world. We are grateful to all those who donated time, money, and/or prayer from across the nation to help us rebuild our Sanctuary and replace our organ.

Compassion Fatigue Seminar
March 17, 2007, The Presbyterian Women of St. Andrew hosted a seminar sponsored by the Presbyterian Women of the Presbytery of South Louisiana on Compassion Fatigue and Trauma.

Moving Along With Repairs
It has taken much patience by all to get the needed repairs done. The ceiling was completely sanded and restained. This ceiling is incredibly high. Electrical wiring has been repaired. Air Conditioners repaired or replaced. Organ repairs should start in a few months. Tile /carpeting are now laid and the pews were placed back, just today (June 27, 2006). Pictures to be added.

Sanctuary Repairs begin
The repair of the Sanctuary has demanded contractors with experience. The framework for the front windows had to be manufactured, bolted in, and carefully designed.

Starting Repairs
Repairs will done as contractors and supplies are available-it will be a long process. As clean-up continues, it has become apparent that more extensive damage to the interior of the sanctuary was done to tile, carpeting, pews, and pew cusions. It will take time and patience.

Rita Damage
There is extensive destruction to the Sanctuary from wind and water. The organ will need major repairs. The Richardson Room is badly damaged both inside in out. All building roofs need major repair. Ceiling tiles in the library are water-logged, the daycare freezer and the food it contained was lost.

*GA and Gam-Anon Meetings - 6:30 p.m.

*FIRST Monday of every month - Adult Bible Study from the book "Being Presbyterian in the Bible Belt"

Wednesday
*Choir Practice - 7:00 p.m.

Thursday

*College Bible Study will begin soon, time and dates will be announced.

*GA Meeting - 6:30 p.m.

*Evening Bible Study Group - meets every THIRD Thursday in the Richardson

Room at 6:30 p.m. The study will be "The Gospel According to Starbucks".

Friday

*Youth group meets every Friday from 6-8:00 p.m. in the Youth Game Room.
