Presbyterian Kid's Club
We are so glad that we are slowly able to get back together face-to-face with our children. While we made the decision to stay virtual during the COVID surge, we also know it has been difficult for our kids to stay connected with each other online rather than seeing each other in person. We are happy to announce that we have officially started back with Children's Church, and we have some great lessons and activities planned! The children will continue to stay for the service on Communion Sundays (1st Sunday of each month) and the last Sunday of each month for the Contemporary Service, just as we had started before covid. We have 3 age groups for our kids to make sure we are offering lessons that they will get the most out of. The youth are learning the core beliefs and values of the Christian faith, sharing ideas and experiences, wrestling with difficult questions, and growing spiritually. |

Presbyterian Women
Presbyterian Women have recently celebrated their 25th anniversary providing opportunities for Bible study, mission outreach and service. It is a national ministry of PC USA.
Fall has begun and so does our annual Presbyterian Women's Bible Study. This year's Fall study is entitled Sacred Encounters: The Power and Presence of Jesus Christ in Luke-Acts by Olive Mahabir
Within the pages of this study, Olive Mahabir invites you to consider Jesus and Jesus’ disciples who shared the Good News through sacred encounters with everyday people Next Bible study is scheduled for Friday, March 15 at 10:30 a.m. This will be followed by a potluck salad lunch.
Want to sew? Join us after lunch for Mission Stitchers. We're trying to come up with some neat ideas for gifts or daily use. We would love for you to join us. Coffee and cookies available.

The Mission Stitcher’s Group makes masks, quilts and craft projects which they offer for sale. 100% of the net proceeds go toward Mission outreach projects. Over $2000 a year is donated to various mission projects as a result of their efforts. Contact the church office for more information. The Mission Stitchers meet in the Sewing Room at 12:30 p.m. every Friday.

Small Groups
Many Small Groups are being offered. For more information please contact the church office (477-6166) . Choir - Our Music Team meets with the choir each Wednesday at 6:30 pm in the Choir Room. We will grow together in the spirit through song. Mission Stitchers Meets every Friday afternoon in the Sewing room at the church. Provides support for members. Sews items to sell to benefit missions. Makes items to donate to members, non-members and missions. Women's Group The Women’s Group supports several local missions (The Lord’s Place Shelter for Homeless Men, The Potter’s House, Calcasieu Women’s Shelter, Harbour House ETC, and Evergreen Presbyterian Ministry). |
